Carmen Huerta

Carmen Huerta is the founder and managing director of TAC7, as well as an accomplished art historian and contemporary art expert. With more than 17 years of experience across public and private institutions, both national and international, she has developed a career that bridges classical and contemporary art worlds.

Carmen began her professional journey at the Collezione Peggy Guggenheim in Venice. She later returned to Madrid to join the Ivorypress team before moving to the Museo del Prado in 2009, where she worked until founding TAC7 in 2022.

In 2018 Carmen launched The Art Chat, a pioneering platform dedicated to exploring artists’ creative processes through intimate studio conversations. Over the years, she has collaborated with some of the most prominent artists and curators in Spain and around the world.

Her work embodies a forward-thinking and multidisciplinary approach to art, heritage, and innovation. Carmen’s vision is rooted in connecting diverse audiences through reflective, dynamic, and culturally relevant projects that keep her, and TAC7, at the forefront of the contemporary art scene.
